It was with this vision that Elfi and Oscar Thurnher began the development of Thurnher’s Alpenhof in 1964, thereby fulfilling their long-standing dream of a home in the mountains. They aimed to create a place where guests from all the corners of the globe could gather, where old friends could meet and new friendships be formed. This philosophy and the long-standing tradition are maintained today by the second generation, enriched by a wealth of fresh new ideas and innovations.
